The Objective

Create a brand awareness campaign for RedEnvelope Holiday.

PHASE 1: Generate engagement and excitement around the launch of the new, upgraded gift box.

PHASE2: Develop an integrated holiday campaign centered around family and gift-giving.

The Approach

It all started with a teaser (and a shiny, new red box). The “Unwrap a surprise” Campaign focused on getting the consumer excited, making them feel like they were getting a special gift before their own gift-buying started. Our approach included: Making the box the hero, shooting it larger than life. Leaning heavily into PMS 187 (our brand color) for maximum impact and to cut through the clutter. Short, smart, simplified and direct messaging but also, tell a story... a story that centers around the emotion of giving a RedEnvelope gift. Seamlessly integrate the red box story into an omni-channel, integrated marketing campaign, enter “Holiday Hideaway.”
